Ring, Ring, Ring! The school bell ringing signals a start to my sixth year as a 5th grade teacher at West Lafayette Intermediate School. Can you guess how many states in which I have taught? I have taught in MI, TN, MO, KY and Delphi, IN. I was born a Hoosier in Columbia City, IN. I attended a small rural township elementary school until high school. In fact, I was in the last class of kindergartners to go to the one-room schoolhouse in Washington Township. I graduated from Columbia City High School in 1992 and Purdue University in 1996.
My husband and I enjoy helping our kids care for and show pigs and lambs. We live on a small hobby farm in Carroll County. I enjoy sewing, planting flowers, helping my children with projects, and indulging in CHOCOLATE every now and then.
I am ecstatic about teaching 5th grade at Happy Hollow! My favorite subjects to teach are Science, Math and Reading.
A GREAT ATTITUDE becomes a GREAT DAY,
Which becomes a GREAT YEAR,
Which becomes a GREAT LIFE.
